Annual Residents Meeting

The annual residents meeting is scheduled to take place on January 29th, 2019 (Tuesday) at 6:00 PM.  The meeting will be held at Donatos Pizza, 1815 Brice Rd, Reynoldsburg, OH.  All residents of McNaughten Village are strongly encouraged to attend.

Meeting Agenda Items Are:

  • Any resident having questions, concerns, or comments (both good and bad) about the McNaughten Village Board of Directors or the Property Management Company are encouraged to ask them at this time.
  • Two positions on the Board of Directors are open.  Board member terms for incumbents Nancy West and Joey Ashbrook expire.   We'll be holding elections to fill these two positions.
  • McNaughten Village is insured by State Farm.  Our State Farm agent will explain what's covered by the insurance, what isn't, and what the residents should have by way of home owner's insurance.  Our agent will also any questions or concerns individual residents may have.
  • Free Pizza!

Joanne Kitchen called the meeting to order at 11:00 AM

Board members Joanne Kitchen, Robert Jackson, Sandra Matthews, Joey Ashbrook and Judie Brenneman were present.
Property Manager Tom Jones was present.
Board member Nancy West was absent.

Property Manager's Report as of November 21, 2018.
As of this date the McNaughten Condo Association has:
  • $20,482.47 in your checking account.
  • $147,516.82 in your savings account.
  • $11,540.73 in your CD account.

Two owners currently owe the association money. No legal action taken.

Discussed 1865 Misty way closing.

As of this writing, MIRINVEST LLC (5161 Marks CT New Albany OH 43054-9359) owns 1865 Misty Way which closed on September 24th, 2018 and sold for $55,500 (Fifty five thousand five hundred dollars and no cents).

Old Business
  • The seal coating and curb repairs are complete.
  • The association is waiting on another leaf cleanup. There was a delay due to the weather.
  • The tree trimming along the perimeter will be discussed again in the spring, 2019.
  • The City repaired the one leak at 1850 Misty Way. Advanced Reality Management has called the City to come back out to inspect an area next to where they fixed the leak. The Board will wait until this inspection to determine if there is additional work needed.

New Business
  • The Board wants snow sticks placed. They want them at least by each of the sump pump drains where they come out at the curbs. Bob Jackson will check into purchasing additional sticks. If he cannot find them Rob Adkins will purchase more.
  • The Board meetings and procedures were discusses.
  • The Board discussed the annual meeting. This will take place on January 29th. This is subject to change if the State Farm agent cannot attend.
  • Tom (from Advanced Reality Management) will ask the association’s agent from State Farm to come to the annual meeting in January.

Board of Director Nancy West term expires in January, 2019.
Board of Director Joey Ashbrook term expires in January, 2019.

Board member elections will be held at the meeting scheduled for January 29th, 2019.  If you wish to run for election please notify Joanne Kitchen, President, 1862 Misty Way; Email Joanne Kitchen.

There will be no Board of Directors meeting for December.
