President Terminated!

Now Ex-President Bill Emery (1868 Misty Way) has been terminated without warning as of the morning of Tuesday, October 17th, 2023.  A letter from the Board of Directors stated, in part, that:

The Board of Directors for McNaughten Village Condominium Association, has noted that you have irreparable conduct and behavior with the other Board members.

Therefore, with deep regret, we must terminate your position on the Board. You have not provided the leadership we need to move forward to accomplish all that needs to be done for our community. Communication, or lack thereof, has been an ongoing issue.

Anyone reading this now knows as much about this event as the ex-president knows.

Armed Robbery in the Area

This armed robbery happened on Wednesday (6/28/2023) at 11:00 AM.  In brief, the victim was eastbound on Livingston when the criminal rear ended him.  The victim pulled over and got out to examine the damage, when the criminal got out of his own car and pointed a pistol at the victim, telling him that his car isn't worth his life.

Well, he's right about that one.

This isn't some three in the morning robbery outside a bar, where everyone's half in the bag.  This is eleven in the morning on a well trafficked street, right outside our condominium complex.

Armed Robbery Location

Here's a link to the police report: CPD Report

To the best of my knowledge, the criminals haven't been caught, and I doubt they will be.  All I can say is be careful.

Ordinance #0184-2023 Defeated

On Monday, June 26th 2023 at 6:30 PM the Columbus City Council met to vote on the ordinance #0184-2023.  This would have allowed the rezoning of 1555 McNaughten Road to permit a developer to build an apartment complex of 126 units.  The area is currently zoned to permit construction of single family homes - not apartment complexes.

Spring Flowers and Trees in April 2023

One thing I really enjoy about our neighborhood are the flowers and flowering trees that were planted some years back.  I think they look just a little better every year.
