Abandoned Car

There is a white Honda Accord Crosstour with Michigan plates AHG-466 that has been parked in our parking lot for over a week.  So far as anyone is able to determine, this car does not belong to any of our residents or their guests.  Even if it did belong to a guest, it's taking up two parking spaces and should have been moved days ago.

Abandoned Car
Taking Up Two Parking Spaces
Parking spaces are at a premium here.  Common courtesy would suggest to most of us that you not take up more than one space when you park.

This Car Will Be Towed
I think it's likely the car will turn up as stolen and was abandoned here.  We'll see if anyone responds to this notice before the tow truck arrives.

Coyote Sighting

I read a report from a local resident who said she saw a coyote sitting on the Northeast corner of Livingston and Noe-Bixby.  This was in the early morning on Friday, January 19th.

Suspicious Person Report

Courtesy of Bob and Becky Jackson of 1841 Misty Way:

There was a suspicious-person report from Carmen, who is a cousin to Shelly Adams (the Owner) at 1849 Misty Way.

The suspicious person is a black male and an alleged associate of the occupants of 1839 Misty Way.

Carmen approached Becky and myself on Monday (January 15th) around noon to express her concern and alarm about seeing a suspicious person attempting to open the door at 1849 Misty Way, and looking in the window interim to him to walking (back?) over to 1839, where his car was parked.

She (Carmen) wanted Joanne’s cell number.  I gave it to her and mentioned that Joanne will tell her to call the police and document the incident.

Thanks to Bob and Becky for the heads up.

We're Plowed Out

Our snow plow experts at work.  We were plowed out on January 13, 2018 at 12:24 PM, and they certainly seem to have done a nice job.

It's Official

Update 1/13/18 10:35 AM

Everyone on the official email list received the following email from HOA President Joanne Kitchen:
I talked to Andy Virgin at 6:00 a.m.   He said that since the snowing did not stop until 4:00 and the blowing has caused problems we will be plowed late morning.  He said that for every 1 inch of snow plowing is delayed 1 hour.  4=6 [STET] inches of snow has fallen.   Please stay safe.

As a rule, maybe more as a guideline really, the upper management at McNaughten Village doesn't plow Misty Way until there is at least three (3) inches of snow on the ground. I think we've got four.

As you can see from this morning's traffic map (courtesy of Columbus Traffic), things could be worse.  McNaughten Road has been plowed by the intrepid Columbus Snow Warriors, your tax dollars at work.

For up to date information on traffic and road conditions, take a look outside or click on the link: WBNS 10TV.

Hopefully Misty Way will be plowed later on today.  Here are a few pix of our neighborhood, taken from inside my home.  I'm not going outside unless I have no choice in the matter.

Snow Storm on Friday, January 12, 2018

It appears as though the weather might be turning extra bad today, so I thought I'd post some consolation in the form of cheer up, it could be worse.

The results of the last election are in. We have a new line up for our Board of Directors. The new Board of Directors are: Tanika Johnson, 1...
