It seems that we have a new tent city, population homeless, just to the North of us.

Just north of our little slice of paradise is the Scotland Yard Condominium Complex. North of that and on the east side of McNaughten Road is a wooded area with a field in the middle of it. North of the field, in the narrow stretch of woods, is the new Tent City.
These people live off the grid and will likely be evicted in due time. Meanwhile, they make money begging at the corner of McNaughten Road and East Livingston Avenue, and they've been known to steal. If you don't want it stolen, keep it in your garage and consider investing in one or more security cameras with motion detectors.
