I rode out for a short tour of the neighborhood today, and I'm impressed with the flowers. Here are some lilies at the our entrance, making things look a little nicer.
Just inside the entrance there's a perpetual puddle in the road. If you believe the sign, the City of Columbus is handling this problem (water leak), meaning that it's likely to be finished sometime before we all die of old age.

City of Columbus On the Job |
Our tax dollars at work. Happily, I'm cheered up by the flowers around the mailboxes. This is a very nice touch - my thanks to the homeowner who planted these.

Pot of Purple Flowers |
I can't remember what these are called, but I know they don't do well up North. I find them very attractive.
So as I'm riding along, what do you suppose I find? A can, and it wasn't there on my way
out of the complex. That means it's very recent litter.

Monster Super Fuel |
Now, who do you suppose would be drinking a Monster brand energy drink? And then throwing the empty away. Certainly not our yard maintenance crew.

Lawn Mower Crew |
I'll give 'em credit, one of the workers denied knowledge of the specific detritus, but he did volunteer to get rid of it.

Refrigerator Delivery |
Our new neighbors got a new refrigerator delivered from Lowe's. Welcome to the neighborhood!

A Few Bricks Shy of a Load |
If anyone knows where our bricks got off to, please don't hesitate to speak up.
We have a beautiful flowering tree at the end of the street, mostly hidden by a tool shed of some kind. It's in bloom right now, and it's quite striking.
I took a photo of the entire tree, but for some reason that particular photo refuses to upload. Probably an EOF() glitch.
That's all for today. I hope everyone enjoys the pix.
