I thought it would be mid-July before we saw greenery or flowers, but thankfully I was wrong.

I'm grateful to whoever it was that planted the flowers. Nothing brightens a community up like flowers in bloom.

I think this is my favorite tree in spring. I'd like to see the entrance to McNaughten Village framed by a pair of these trees. I'd also like to see one in my front yard.

If anyone knows what these are called, leave the name in the comments section. We could use a few more around the neighborhood. Whoever did the original landscaping got it right, especially in the spring.
