Director Meeting Minutes

Call meeting to order
  • Joanne Kitchen called the meeting to order at 11:00 AM
Establish Quorum
  • Board members Joanne Kitchen, Robert Jackson, Sandra Matthews, Nancy West, Joey Ashbrook and Judie Brenneman were present.
Reviewed the meeting minutes from June 30, 2018.
  • A motion was made by Joanne Kitchen to approve the minutes as read. This motion was seconded by Nancy West and approved by all.
Property Managers Report as of July 27, 2018
  • As of this date you have $17,697.62 in your checking account.
  • As of this date you have $159,249.11 in your savings account.
  • As of this date you have $11,540.73 in your CD account.
  • The Board reviewed the budget analysis.
  • No owners currently owe the association money.
  • Will be checking on money coming to the association as a result of a sheriff sale.
Old Business
  • Wright’s Tree Service completed their proposed project.
  • The proposal from Carlton Harris for 1861 Misty Way step was tabled. Tom Jones will contact Jim Perry to add it to his list of repairs for the curbs scheduled in August.
New Business
  • The Board discussed having a picnic. This will be held on August 12, 2018 starting at 4PM. 17 people have signed up to come. The board discussed the food arrangements.
  • The Board discussed a continued noise complaint for the son of an owner.  Complainant advised to call the night prosecutors office to get this settled.
General Discussion
  • The Board discussed various maintenance issues they would like done and or proposals given for review.
  • 1. 1816 Misty Way – proposal on tree removal.
  • 2. 1841 Misty Way – another possible dead tree
  • 3. 1814 Misty Way – Post bad on fence gate and proposal to repair door frame.
  • 4. 1861 Misty Way – Gate and post repair requested.
  • 5. 1812 Misty Way - repair the fence gate
  • 6. 1861 Misty Way – Fence maintenance request
  • 7. 1837 Misty Way - Proposal to remove the hot tub in the patio area.
  • 8. 1837 Misty Way – Nail the gutters and secured over the garage. The fascia on the side of the unit still not repaired.
  • 9. 1837 Misty Way – Set a cage out back to catch a raccoon.
Additional Items
  • 1. Have Wright Tree Service give a proposal to remove dead branches, vines, etc.around the perimeter of the community. Also check a possible dead tree in the rear of 1837 Misty Way.
The next meeting will be on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

Adjourn Meeting
  • A motion was made by Joey Ashbrook to adjourn the meeting at 12:05 PM. This motion was seconded by Sandy Mathews and approved by all.
